BREAKING: Alabama hires Saban replacement

Alabama has named their successor to Nick Saban. Kalen DeBoer, Washington University's coach, will be the next head coach at Alabama.

DeBoer graduated from the University of Sioux Falls and got his start in coaching at the school. After four years (2000-2004) as the offensive coordinator, DeBoer became the head coach at the University of Sioux Falls and went 67-3 and won three national championships from 2005-09.

The coach has also spent time at Southern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, and Fresno State. DeBoer is 104-12 overall as a head coach and recently took the Washington Huskies to the College Football National Championship in just his second year.

DeBoer has his work cut out for him in Tuscaloosa, but as history has shown, DeBoer knows how to win.
