Veteran Alabama tight end slated to visit Tennessee

After the legendary Nick Saban announced his retirement yesterday, the big question was who is going to replace the goat, and will there be a mass exodus from this dynasty of a program? And, the fallout is beginning to take shape. Yesterday, the 2024 5-star wide receiver, Ryan Williams decommitted from the program. And, today, Senior tight-end Miles Kitselman has entered the portal and scheduled a visit with the Vols

Kitselman, who is a 6-5, 250-pound tight end started his collegiate career at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community college in 2021 and became a rotational player for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He played 13 games this season but didn’t make a catch.

While not a huge playmaker, Kistelman did play in all 13 games and proved to be an option that could produce in on offense and special teams. Saban retired after 17 years, and with NCAA protocol, players are allowed to enter the transfer portal for 30 days after a coach leaves.

It's not yet clear where Kitselman would play or contribute with the Vols, but maybe this is a sign that after Saban’s retirement, no player is safe. And, the portal may get some juicy transfers soon that Heupel can add to an already great ‘24 haul.
