Titans: Jamarco Jones becomes the latest free agent bust in Nashville

Jamarco Jones was recently cut, ending a tumultuous tenure in the Music City. Jones signed a two-year deal in March of 2022, which seemed like a solid depth addition at the time.

Instead, Jones contributed absolutely nothing to the team. The tackle/guard went down with an injury in September 2022 and never saw the field again. Entering training camp this summer, many expected Jones to compete for the starting right tackle job.

Instead, Jones couldn’t stop getting into fights with his own teammates. Mike Vrabel had seen enough after the second scuffle in as many days and Jones was released. It would have been nice if Jones held his own in camp and helped keep the line afloat while Nicholas Petit-Frere serves his suspension. But, we are Titans fans after all, and we can’t have nice things.

Jones is just another example of a Jon Robinson signing that contributes absolutely nothing to the team. Thankfully, it seems like new general manager Ran Carthon will not be shy about cutting bait with players from the previous regime. Looking at you, Caleb Farley.
