Vol fans predict Tennessee’s 2024 season
Ladies and Gents, the 2024 college football season is quickly approaching. The Tennessee Volunteers will kick off their season on August 31 against the FCS Chattanooga Mocs.
Most sportsbooks have the Vols’ win total between 8.5 and 9.5 games in 2024. It’s easy to take the over on that, however, due to excitement over Nico Iamaleava and some quality transfer portal additions like Chris Brazzell, Lance Heard, and Jermod McCoy. The schedule isn’t the easiest, however, with a neutral site game against NC State, road games at Oklahoma and Georgia, and home matchups with Alabama and Florida.
Before every season, we like to get a feel for what the fans anticipate. Vol fans, most of whom are longtime BVS sufferers, are feeling confident this year. We ran a poll asking how many games the Vols will win in 2024, and 192 users voted. A whopping 65.6% chose the 10 or more option, while 30.7% chose 8-9, and just under 4% chose 6-7 wins.
