Tennessee fans vote on most impressive player through Week 5
On our poll for this week, we asked Vol Twitter who the most impressive Vol of the season has been thus far. We provided 3 options: EDGE James Pearce Jr., RB Jaylen Wright, and CB Kamal Hadden. There was also a 4th option, for “other.”
The results were overwhelming. Pearce received 80.6% of the vote. Coming in 2nd was Jaylen Wright, who had 9.7%, and then Hadden with 4.8%. The “other” option also received 4.8% of the vote.
Pearce certainly makes sense. The defensive end leads the team with 5 sacks. Wright has had a productive season as the lead back, taking 61 carries for 435 yards. Though often scrutinized, Hadden has been excellent, collecting 15 tackles and 2 INTs.
The most popular “other” option was RB Dylan Sampson. Sampson has received just 36 carries but has 248 yards and a team-high 6 TDs.
