Tennessee adds two prospects, including top 2025 TE

Chris Brazzell, the 4-star transfer from Tulane, was a huge get for the Vols this offseason. He brings experience and huge playmaking abilities to the wide receivers room. But, that’s not all- he’s also helping to bolster Tennessee’s defense.

Today, Colin Brazzell, Chris’ younger brother, committed to the Vols for 2024. He ranks as a 3-star defensive back out of Midland, Texas on ESPN, On3, and Rivals. Like his brother, he possesses great size at 6-2 and 165 pounds. The versatile prospect also plays wide receiver. That brings Tennessee’s 2024 class to 22 players and could help a depleted defensive backfield.

But that wasn’t where the positive news ended this weekend. On Sunday, the Vols also received a commitment from 2025 4-star tight end Jack Van Dorselaer.

Van Dorselaer, 6-foot-4/225 lbs from Southlake, TX, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 11 tight end in the nation and the No. 27 player in the state of Texas. He's also rated as the No. 190 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
